QA Chemist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Darra. As a key member of our Quality Assurance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products by analyzing samples from each production batch, conducting start and end of line testing, and providing technical support to sales and service teams.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with analytical chemistry skills who is looking for a hands-on role with a variety of interesting tasks. You will work closely with production to ensure that quality and process guidelines are followed, complete performance testing, formula maintenance, and approve raw materials.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Analysing samples from each production batch
• Start and end of line testing
• Providing technical support to sales and service teams
• Investigating and documenting findings
• Raw materials testing and approval against specifications
• Troubleshooting wet chemistry and instrumental analytical methods
• Keeping records and writing reports
• Mentoring QC technicians and other team members

Requirements:

• A strong background in analytical chemistry or a related field
• Experience in laboratory settings, preferably in quality assurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle a high workload and prioritize tasks effectively
• Computer savvy and proficient in relevant software applications
