Sessional Teaching Opportunity in Interior Design

We are seeking experienced professionals to contribute to the teaching and development of our interior design programs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education who wish to share their expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role
This part-time sessional teaching position involves delivering lectures, tutorials, and workshops across various content areas within the Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) and Master of Interior Design programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design education and research, with a focus on ideas-led design practice that addresses the dynamic relations between people and their surroundings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum materials for interior design courses
- Design and implement engaging teaching strategies to promote student learning and participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain the quality of our interior design programs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in interior design or a related field
- Proven experience in interior design education and research
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
