As a Cyber Security specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering expert technical support and service to our customers. This involves using analytical skills to isolate and resolve issues, facilitating new installations, implementations, maintenance, education, and author documentation in support of customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to customers through problem isolation and resolution.
  • Analyze historical trends and data to prepare written technical reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients at both engineer and management levels.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating organizational ability and flexibility.
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites globally as required.
  • Support junior staff in resolving technical issues when needed.
  • Interact with R&D teams to resolve complex issues and bugs.
  • Understand and replicate customer environments for testing and troubleshooting locally.
  • Deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in the IT industry, focusing on networking and security in the Enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix and Windows system-level concepts.
  • A proven understanding of enterprise-class security principles, design, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of change control processes in the Enterprise.
  • A minimum CCSE certification (Check Point Certified Security Expert).
  • Proficiency in analyzing packet captures using tcpdump and Wireshark tools.
  • Expertise in interpreting network environments at the L2/L3 OSI layers.
  • Excellent active listening and communication skills, along with the ability to share information and network effectively.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • A thorough understanding of Internet technologies, including TCP/IP, Networking, and Operating Systems.
  • A strong personal drive and initiative.
  • The ability to maintain a personal schedule conducive to job requirements and team performance.
  • The capacity to work with the support team to improve technical skills.
  • The ability to stay current with technology advancements.
  • The capability to interface with Development to solve complex problems.
  • Effective communication of Technical solutions (Strong Presentation, Written, and Verbal).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technology such as VMware.
