Leading Solicitor Role in Commercial Law

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team of legal professionals in Canberra or Melbourne. As a solicitor, you will be working on significant projects and general commercial advisory work for government clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise on complex Australian Government projects;
- Support the achievement of Australian Government requirements and objectives;
- Work across Commonwealth procurement, commercial contracting, intellectual property, and technology matters;
- Be part of a collaborative and supportive team; and
- Provide corporate advisory services, including corporate law, governance, structuring, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
- 1-5 years post-admission experience, preferably in a commercial legal role;
- A strong interest in working on Australian Government transactions;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with clients and other parties;
- Excellent contract drafting and advice writing skills;
- The ability and willingness to apply for an AGSVA Baseline clearance (or hold a Baseline clearance).
