Job Title: Apprentice Pump Technician

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an apprentice pump technician.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work alongside one of our experienced service technicians, assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, mixers, and other associated equipment. Regular travel to customers will be required to support flow service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, mixers, and other associated equipment.
  • Travel to customers' sites to provide technical support and assistance.
  • Work in conjunction with the sales team to help maximize pump sales.
  • Attend all theory sections of the apprenticeship and complete E-Profiling.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Travel to Sulzer's Service Centre in Laverton as required to complete any practical training.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience or expressed interest in mechanical rotating equipment, particularly pumps.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High level of communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Completion of secondary school – year 10/11/12.
