About the Role:We are seeking a reliable and skilled Vehicle Builder/Fitter to join our team at the Hornsby manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on all aspects of vehicle building, including truck body manufacture and assembly, fitting attachments, and testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Work on materials handling equipment
- Have good mechanical aptitude and be able to work with hands
- Be reliable, punctual, motivated, and willing to take on new tasks
- Show commitment to quality and detail
- Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Have a friendly and positive disposition
- Be able to use power tools: drill/grinders/saws
- A Trade Certificate is not required, although advantageous
- Experience in basic hydraulics and mechanics advantageous
- Forklift license required
- Competitive wage with an RDO program
- Onsite parking or walk from train station
- Be part of a proud Australian manufacturing team with over 50 years experience
