About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Shutdown Supervisor to join our team at HanRoy Iron Ore Projects Pty. As a key member of our Shutdown Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of shutdown activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of shutdown maintenance activities, including preparation, execution, and close-out. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that shutdown activities meet quality, time, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe execution of shutdown activities within quality, time, and budget requirements
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  • Ensure all shutdown maintenance activities meet organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal obligations, environmental policies, and duty of care
  • Develop executable maintenance scopes and schedules aligned with Mine Process Plant Maintenance strategies and life of asset planning
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in an engineering or similar technical field; or, an appropriate trade qualification with demonstrated combination of training and experience
  • Experience of maintenance related to materials handling equipment including crushers, conveyor systems, screens, pumps, stackers, reclaimers, and train loading
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving skills with knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and Regulations
  • Experience with MS Project, SAP, or similar CMMS
