About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting dental hygiene assessments and treatments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional patient care through thorough assessments and effective treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care techniques.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Assist dentists in managing dental emergencies and procedures, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and technology, applying knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals, promoting a collaborative and respectful team atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Hold unrestricted registration with AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance.
  • Able to work within Australia, with flexibility to accommodate diverse schedules.
