About Our Multidisciplinary Team

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting part-time role that will support veterans and their families through social connection.

About the Role

This position involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatments to address physical injury, mental health, pain, and chronic disease management. The successful candidate will provide a combination of individual and group treatment sessions and lead group exercise and education programs.

  • Conduct clinical assessments and implement tailored therapies to support positive outcomes.
  • Communicate with referrers effectively to align with best practice, organisational values, and legislative compliance.
  • Maintain compliance requirements as a provider under funding programs delivered.
  • Contribute to the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of health and wellbeing programs and services.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to inform service delivery and promote organisational initiatives.
  • Undertake tasks under the direction of the Clinical Lead to maintain a safe environment in the rehabilitation gym.
About You
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an exercise physiology position.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology and full membership with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
  • Experience in treating musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunctions, as well as chronic disease and pain management.
  • Able to work independently with remote support from a Clinical Lead and physical rehabilitation team.
  • Valid driver's license.

Experience in delivering exercise physiology to Defence members and their families and provision of both group and individual interventions will be highly regarded.
