At the University of New South Wales, we are committed to addressing health equity and improving the wellbeing of Aboriginal people. As a key administrative role, you will support a multidisciplinary team of researchers on a project focused on Aboriginal cultural health.

The Gaawaadhi Gadudha Research Collaborative is a group of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal researchers working together to show that culture practised on Country improves physical health and social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Your role will involve coordinating the administration of the project and supporting research activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent time management skills, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks. You will also require relevant tertiary qualifications or experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans.

You will work collaboratively within a team, but also take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.

Apart from your professional skills, you must have experience working respectfully with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people. A willingness to travel regionally on occasion to provide administrative support on field research activities is also required.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $83,000 per annum, as well as flexible working arrangements and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
