About Our Client
Talent Web, a leading recruitment agency in Australia, is seeking a highly accomplished Head of Finance to join their dynamic leadership team. This pivotal role will drive the financial health and sustainability of the organisation, partnering closely with the CEO to shape financial strategies and oversee financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans that align with organisational goals, supporting long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee all finance functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, profit and loss, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with Australian accounting standards (AASB) and IFRS, and lead audit processes and tax compliance.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management strategies and ensure financial controls and regulatory compliance are in place.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial partners, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a culture of integrity and high performance within the finance team, promoting continuous improvement in processes and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Candidate Profile: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, along with CPA or CA qualification.
  • Leadership Experience: Over 10 years of senior financial management experience.
  • Tech Savviness: Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Industry Insight: Experience in the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
  • Adaptability: Ready to be both strategic and involved in day-to-day operations to support growth.
