The role of Commercial Sales Manager for Lighting Solutions is a vital part of the growth and future of our client's business.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Commercial Sales Manager for Lighting Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the lighting industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities by researching the needs of potential customers.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within allocated key accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge in our company's products and services.
  • Participate and provide appropriate support in client presentations and proposal submissions to drive revenue growth opportunities for existing accounts.
  • Ensure all position-related data is inputted into the CRM system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant industry-related qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination/account management.
  • Experience in managing accounts for large business A&D clients, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
  • Experience selling lighting products to architects and designers is essential.
  • Strong product and industry knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • A self-motivated, energetic, and positive nature to deliver above-quota performance.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization skills, networking, and relationship skills.
  • Sales ability, including strong negotiation skills and proven persuasive ability.
  • An appreciation of the value/importance of designated accounts, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organisation and the client's organisation.
