The role of Commercial Sales Manager for Lighting Solutions is a vital part of the growth and future of our client's business.
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Commercial Sales Manager for Lighting Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the lighting industry.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities by researching the needs of potential customers.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within allocated key accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge in our company's products and services.
- Participate and provide appropriate support in client presentations and proposal submissions to drive revenue growth opportunities for existing accounts.
- Ensure all position-related data is inputted into the CRM system.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant industry-related qualification.
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination/account management.
- Experience in managing accounts for large business A&D clients, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
- Experience selling lighting products to architects and designers is essential.
- Strong product and industry knowledge.
- Strong negotiation abilities.
- A self-motivated, energetic, and positive nature to deliver above-quota performance.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Strong organization skills, networking, and relationship skills.
- Sales ability, including strong negotiation skills and proven persuasive ability.
- An appreciation of the value/importance of designated accounts, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organisation and the client's organisation.
