The role of the Registered Staff Nurse is to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 22-bed General Hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain quality evidence-based nursing care using best practice guidance, through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Administer medications, undertake emergency triage, and provide emergency services using advanced resuscitation skills.
- Supervise unqualified staff, mentor student nurses, and provide learning opportunities for junior staff and students.
- Contribute to policy development and assist with audits/reviews.
A successful candidate will possess relevant nursing qualifications, be familiar with the Nurses Code of Practice, and have knowledge of Health and Social Welfare policies.
They must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong IT skills to produce accurate written communications and reports.
Requirements:- A Registered Nurse with relevant nursing qualifications and NMC or SANC registration.
- Familiarity with the Nurses Code of Practice.
- Knowledge of Health and Social Welfare policies.
