Technical Services Engineer Role

You'll work closely with the NAA CAMO department as the Technical Services Engineer – Avionics, providing technical engineering support and advice. Key responsibilities include preparing and adjusting aircraft records for which Technical Services is responsible, conducting assessments of Continuing Airworthiness instructions, and investigating repetitive defects, major defects, and poor reliability trends.

Essential Criteria
  • Ability to provide expert technical guidance and assistance to stakeholders.
  • 4 years of aviation experience within the CAMO.
  • A working knowledge of CASR regulation Part 42, 21J, and 21M.
  • Aircraft maintenance trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of CASA, International, and National Airworthiness Authority regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong experience in Reporting and Records Keeping.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
