We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Analyst to join our Supply Chain Commercial Finance team at News Corp Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial professional to drive business growth and profitability through strategic financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to inform commercial decisions and provide financial insights">
  • Own the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting, analyzing variances">
  • Support cross-functional teams with financial insights to guide logistics and distribution strategies">
  • Drive process and efficiency improvements, working with stakeholders to implement changes">
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve financial systems and tools for greater accuracy">

Requirements:

We are looking for a CA/CPA qualified individual with 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role. You will have strong commercial and financial acumen, including cost management and influencing stakeholders. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential. A strategic thinker with a commercial approach to business, you will be able to manage competing deadlines and source data from multiple platforms to provide actionable insights.
