About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychology & Counselling Specialist to join our team at Sureway Health & Wellbeing. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will provide expert evidence-based mental health support to individuals with psychosocial issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Mental Health Services: Provide face-to-face and telehealth services to clients, utilizing age-appropriate therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs.
  • Client-Centered Approach: Create a warm and welcoming environment for every individual who connects with our services, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise effectively with other health professionals and service providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Professional Development: Participate in regular peer supervision and access clinical supervision to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Registration: Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist, with Medicare provider number or eligibility to apply.
  • Experience and Skills: A track record of utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies and techniques, with competence to work independently and excellent time management, administrative, and report writing skills.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to work with NDIS participants (desirable but not essential), and willingness to undertake a National Police Check, NDIS Workers Check, and relevant state-based screens.
