Job Description

The role involves operating a forklift to load and unload goods from trucks and trailers. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse and adhering to all safety protocols.

This is a rotational roster position, working day and night shifts on a casual basis. A 15% loading applies to night shifts worked, and penalty rates are paid for shifts over 10 hours.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Current forklift licence essential.
  • Experience in loading and unloading trucks (both rear and side loading), gating, strapping, knowledge of weight distribution and size of loads and manual handling.
  • Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely.
  • Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment.
