
Environmental Health Enforcement Specialist

We are seeking a proactive Compliance Officer skilled in interpreting legislation and taking enforcement action to uphold public health laws.
The role involves conducting routine inspections, gathering evidence, preparing reports, and representing cases in court. You will also be responsible for sample collection, intelligence gathering, and working collaboratively with partners such as Environmental Health Officers, Police, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and gather evidence to ensure compliance with public health laws
- Prepare reports and represent cases in court
- Collaborate with partners to achieve common objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to improve compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and compressed timelines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly within a team to achieve common objectives
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
