Network Data Maintenance and Operations Specialist

At Essential Energy, we're seeking a skilled Network Data Maintenance and Operations Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of network asset data in our Asset Management Systems. This includes updating, monitoring and maintaining relevant network asset data using automated or manual data transfer tools.
You'll also provide accurate translations of design construction drawings, outlining changes to the network, and update our business systems accordingly.
Additionally, you'll undertake cross-systems verification work as required by the role to ensure all systems sharing asset data are in alignment following the updates of asset data.
Your expertise lies in precise data entry, cross-system verification, and a solid understanding of the energy and distribution environment.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Certificate III in Business with preferred electives in Information Technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
A qualification in Spatial Information Services would be desirable, as would editing experience in WACS and Smallworld.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus 16% superannuation and a range of employee benefits including Fitness Passport, Apple, JB Hi-Fi and Dell Employee Purchase Programs and 26 weeks paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers.
