Job Title: Credit Risk Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Credit Risk Officer to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

In this position, you will be responsible for assessing credit risk, managing customer relationships, and contributing to the development of strategies to improve our business's financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in finance or accounting, 3+ years of experience in a similar role, and strong knowledge of credit risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Affiliated with collecting customer debt reporting to Manager of Credit Risk and Debt Recovery.
  • Conduct Equifax checks and assess trade levels using internal risk frameworks.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with various stakeholders, including Sales Managers, Account Managers, and General Managers.
  • Support process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified - Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years experience working in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management practices
  • Ability to analyze company financial statements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Team player
