Support Worker Role

We are seeking experienced and passionate Support Workers with excellent availability to provide quality care in our dedicated team. If you have a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities, we would love to hear from you.

This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and possess strong interpersonal skills. As a Support Worker, you will work within our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, providing support to assist people with disabilities to live as independently as possible.

About The Job
  • Provide assistance to clients requiring sensitive manners and understanding of complex behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve individualised goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be adaptable to changing circumstances, and possess a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers (penalty rates apply).
  • The capacity to meet physical requirements as some manual handling tasks may be involved.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
