Early Childhood Education Lead Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced early childhood educator looking to take on leadership responsibilities. As an Early Childhood Education Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in implementing a holistic approach to the care and development of children.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in leading teams of educators. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for providing high-quality educational programs that promote positive outcomes for children and families.

In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Director to develop and implement educational policies and procedures, as well as provide guidance and support to educators on best practices in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Centre Director in evaluating and driving effective centre business performance
  • To support the Nominated Supervisor in implementing a holistic approach to the care and development of children
  • To lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children and families
  • To maintain accurate records and reports related to centre operations and educational programs

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current Blue Card/WWCC
  • High level knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Recent experience in leading a team of educators
