**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced leader for a High Voltage Commissioning Manager position in Melbourne, VIC.

This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that projects implement Health, Safety and Environmental Management System requirements and lead Behavioural Based Safety initiatives.
  • Lead planning, delivery, and integration of testing, commissioning, entry into service, and asset acceptance for civil, electrical, earthing, mechanical, communications, and control systems.
  • Develop and approve project testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning documentation for each discipline, including vendor-supplied major equipment.
  • Train operations and maintenance teams to ensure operator competence at handover.
  • Verify commissioning resources' competence for tasks undertaken.
  • Complete commissioning activities on time and in accordance with project milestones.
  • Interface with stakeholders, including energy regulators, asset operations, and maintenance teams.

**About You**

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).
  • Previous experience in similar leadership roles involving switch-yards and transmission lines.
  • Individual discipline testing and commissioning experience in Energy transmission projects.
  • Working on multi-disciplined projects.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
