Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Mobile Clinical Nurse Supervisor to oversee operations across our various Residential Aged Care facilities as needed.
In the role of Mobile Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with our site Service Managers to uphold exceptional standards of clinical care for our clients, in alignment with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Brightwater's Clinical Governance Framework. This role entails leading multiple diverse teams across different locations, providing clinical guidance and support to health professionals, and ensuring holistic care that reflects Brightwater's core values.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will foster a culture that aligns with the Brightwater ethos by demonstrating leadership that is caring, authentic, courageous, and progressive, while prioritizing staff safety.
This is a permanent full-time position that requires travel to various metro Residential Aged Care sites as necessary.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Clinical Nurse or in a similar role, with current registration from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Strong clinical acumen, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven leadership skills and a proactive approach to supporting team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical and quality audit processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to build effective relationships.
- Knowledge of the aged care sector, relevant standards, and funding mechanisms.
- Experience with recruitment practices and an understanding of staff performance management and development.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to accommodate client and family needs, including participation in an on-call roster.
- Current evidence of flu vaccination.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months).
- A valid WA driver's licence.
