Structural Engineering Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional structural engineering services throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technically excellent engineering designs and consultancy services to clients
  • Take on a senior design engineer role in various projects
  • Mentor and support the technical development of junior team members
  • Assist with bid preparation and submissions as needed
  • Benchmark and improve team performance through data-driven decision making
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in leading projects and teams
  • Foster a people-first, supportive leadership style that prioritizes team well-being and development

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Significant experience at a Senior Engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering background
  • Expertise in structural investigations of existing structures and construction phase inspections
  • Flexibility to work on projects ranging from minor reviews to major structural developments
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle, including project delivery
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian codes and standards, and proficiency in designing RC/PT concrete, structural steel, and mass timber
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
