Corporate Services Manager

About the Role
Treendale Primary School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as Manager Corporate Services. This is a 6-month fixed-term, part-time position (0.2 FTE) commencing Term 1, 2025, with possible extension and/or permanency.
As Manager Corporate Services, you will provide educational leadership in the school and the community, contributing to the school vision and its strategic direction. You will work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to deliver business outcomes and provide sound customer service principles and practices.
The successful applicant will possess innovative and systems-based thinking, with a strategic mindset and capacity to lead change. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which will assist when working with the leadership team, staff, parents, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the delivery of business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices.
- Work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to achieve school goals.
- Develop and implement business and marketing plans to achieve school objectives.
- Provide input into the development, implementation, and monitoring of business and marketing plans.
- Ensure all audit requirements are followed and provide consistency for financial planning and budgeting within the school.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the delivery of business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated sound human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide input into the development, implementation, and monitoring of business and marketing plans.
Eligibility
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting.
- Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
