Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled developer to work with a Big 4 Banking client. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining mainframe applications using programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, and JCL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, PL/I, and JCL.
  • Work with database management systems (IMS/DB2).
  • Utilize knowledge of CICS.
  • Understand and implement mainframe security principles and protocols.
  • Handle batch processing and job scheduling.
  • Identify and debug issues effectively.
Required Experience

Proficiency in programming languages like COBOL, PL/I, and JCL is required.

Contract Details

This contract is available for an initial 6 months with multiple extensions. Total contract length is 2-3 years.

The role involves working with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for flexibility and balance in your work life.
