Maternity Services Director

The Maternity and Newborn Services Coordinator is a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe workplace. Located in the Alpine Region of Northeast Victoria, this position requires effective clinical leadership and coordination of staff to deliver maternity and newborn services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional clinical leadership and be an effective role model for staff.
- Coordinate the delivery of all maternity and newborn services, ensuring seamless care for patients.
- Manage patient care administrative systems, including data collection and reporting.
- Enable and promote safety and quality systems that benefit staff, clients, and the organization.
- Participate in policy review and contribute to work practices related to maternity and newborn programs.
- Patient Experience: Lead the establishment of systems capturing client feedback and satisfaction surveys.
- Quality and Improvement: Collaborate with the Quality and Safety Team to establish and measure systems, seeking innovative methods of care delivery.
- Effective Leadership: Coordinate postnatal domiciliary Midwifery care, employ professionally appropriate communication styles, and establish a communication strategy.
- Alpine Health operates three multi-purpose health services across the Alpine Region of Northeast Victoria.

- Regional centers Wangaratta and Albury Wodonga are within 40–60 minutes' drive.
