The Spanish program at our school aims to foster students' language skills and cultural understanding through engaging and challenging learning experiences.
Students will have the opportunity to develop a range of skills, culminating in an annual whole-school event that celebrates Spanish culture.
We believe that relationships are the foundation for successful student outcomes, and we invest time in getting to know and understand all of our students and families.
Our approaches to teaching and learning align with the latest research-based practices to ensure growth and development for our students.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about Spanish and has a native-like proficiency in the language.
Key Responsibilities:
- To plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and challenging learning programs for students in Years P-6.
- To teach Spanish to students in Years P-6, using a range of teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs.
- To assess student learning and adjust teaching programs to meet individual needs.
- To communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
