Professional Counsellor

About a dynamic organisation, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill a crucial role.
This position requires an individual who can provide counselling and advocacy services, as well as deliver community education and offer crisis support.
Key Responsibilities- Counselling: Provide confidential and non-judgmental support to clients.
- Advocacy: Represent clients in various settings and ensure their rights are protected.
- Community Education: Develop and implement programs to raise awareness about sexual assault and its effects.
- Crisis Support: Offer immediate assistance to clients experiencing a crisis.
- A degree in Community Development or Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding sexual assault and its effects on victim/survivors.
- Minimum 5 years experience in counselling, casework or case management.
