Job Description

The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in achieving operational targets and fostering a productive team environment.

  • Coordinate curbside collection fleet operations to meet KPIs.
  • Collaborate with line management to develop and manage operational targets.
  • Ensure regular maintenance tasks are completed on all equipment.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive work culture.
  • Drive operational efficiency within the team and continually review site operations.
  • Manage performance management investigations and outcomes.

About You

Candidates should have 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role within the landfill or waste sector. Knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems is also essential.

  • Be approachable and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Have experience within transport/waste/logistics and/or recycling industries (desired).
  • Understand HSE and environmental legislation and ability to work independently.
