About the Position

We are seeking a Corporate Lawyer - E-commerce Expert to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on e-commerce related matters.

Your primary focus will be on advising on commercial agreements, employment law, consumer protection law, competition law, privacy law, and intellectual property law. You will also assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, as well as managing commercial disputes and regulatory matters.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on commercial agreements, employment law, consumer protection law, competition law, privacy law, and intellectual property law
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
  • Manage commercial disputes and regulatory matters
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
  • 1-3 years PQE in a reputable law firm or in-house in a large multinational corporation
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) with strong academic credentials and a current Australian practising certificate
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
