Explosive Ordnance Specialist

Job Overview

We seek a skilled Explosive Ordnance Specialist to provide consultancy advice and technical solutions to clients, helping them address issues related to guided weapon systems and explosive ordnance.

Key responsibilities include providing specialist engineering and technical advice on fuze and ignition system safety and design, developing and reviewing technical assessments, and implementing procedures for the development of fuze and ignition assessments.

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering degree in a suitable field, at least 2 years relevant experience, or a technical/trade background with 8+ years of demonstratable relevant Defence experience.

Essential Skills

  • Guided weapons / munitions
  • Defence technical regulatory frameworks (preferably Guided weapons / EO)
  • Explosive ordnance, materiel management, technical management
  • Certification/integration activities, and EO / weapons-related Land, Sea, and Air operations experience

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working to support defence acquisition or sustainment projects
