Job Role

A maintenance fitter is required to work on our night shift team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring plant availability through planned preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing trouble shooting, planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Assisting with minor installations and commissioning work as required.
  • Updating and extracting data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  • Collaborating with the team to identify and implement improvements to maintenance work methods/procedures and plant/equipment.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of a trade certificate 3 in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, attend training and adapt to changing circumstances.
