About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our Global Workplace Solutions division, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective facilities services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage facilities functions including PPM, incident response, change management, projects, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other Facilities Managers and base building managers to deliver high-quality services.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to achieve first-class client satisfaction.
  • Oversee facilities inspections, supervise repair work, and maintenance across all office floors and spaces.
  • Lead the preparation of annual opex and capex budgets for the site.
  • Manage a small team, including work schedules, task assignments, mentoring, and deadline tracking.
  • Create and monitor environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Oversee financial and admin functions, including reviewing and approving purchase orders and monitoring invoicing procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Guest Relations teams to evaluate new cost-saving initiatives and sustainability innovations.
  • Monitor contractor procedures and work carried out to ensure safety standards are upheld.
  • Periodically review maintenance and service agreements with the Procurement team.
  • Maintain the asset register and raise end-of-lifecycle requirements.
  • Assist with regular and ad-hoc reports on key issues, outcomes, and workflow updates.

Requirements:

  • Strong Facilities Manager background and experience within an A-grade corporate office environment.
  • Polished, well-presented corporate style with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Experience in commissioning buildings, defect rectification, and document reviews (preferred).
  • Pro-active attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level competency with MS Office programs.
  • Full working rights in Australia for a permanent position.
