About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team at Woolworths Supermarkets. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread and pastry products to meet customer demand
  • Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure efficient production and high-quality products
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries and complaints
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Australian Trade/Proficiency Certificate III in Retail Baking (Breadmaking) or equivalent
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship within Australia
  • Proven experience in a bakery or related environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
