Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced Utilities Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 15 years of experience as a Solution Architect in the Energy & Utilities Industry
- Strong knowledge of business processes such as Enterprise Asset Management, Customer Services, Network Operations, Asset Maintenance, Vegetation Management, and Field Operations
- Experience in delivering utility-specific technology solutions such as Maximo and Ellipse
- Strong experience in solution architecture in large organizations with complex, multi-application, and varied infrastructure landscapes
- A consulting mindset, able to work with senior clients and advise on technology/platform selection
- Experience in designing solutions for clients addressing their needs, defining architecture principles, and overseeing solution development to ensure delivery is in line with design and anticipated benefits are realized
- Ability to direct the translation of requirements by external service providers into high-level and detailed solution designs that satisfy business expectations and ICT standards and maximize return on investments for clients
- Extensive experience of managing and working with external service providers in the design and delivery of complex solutions
- Familiarity with and demonstrated understanding of enterprise's business, solution, and technical architecture
- Extensive knowledge of general architectural and design patterns
- Ability to translate business needs into requirements for solution architecture
- Strong customer focus background with commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability
- Ability to manage relationships across the organization at multiple levels
- Ability to work independently in client environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
