Mobility and Exercise Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mobility and Exercise Support Professional. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exercise, reablement, and wellness programs for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Work under the guidance of our Physiotherapist to develop and implement resident treatment plans, including one-on-one therapy, exercise classes, and group sessions.
- Apply therapeutic techniques, such as heat, cold, or massage therapies, to support resident care.
- Motivate residents to achieve their goals and maintain a high level of physical function.
- Document resident treatments, changes in condition, and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver best practice care and support residents to live a full life.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy) or equivalent.
- Experience in physiotherapy assistance and a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- A warm and empathetic approach, with a passion for aged care and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to work within the scope of practice and seek assistance when required.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination and current flu vaccination.
- NDIS Check.
