AI Driven Industrial Solutions Developer

Our organisation seeks a skilled developer to design and deploy cutting-edge AI-driven industrial asset management solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code for industrial AI and data analytics solutions.
  • Build and maintain data processing pipelines and APIs, integrating data from operational, IoT, and enterprise systems.
  • Support AI/ML model development, testing, and deployment into live operational environments.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping projects and iterative solution design within client sites.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and domain specialists to define and implement technical solutions.
  • Prepare documentation, technical reports, and deployment guides.
  • Contribute to Agile development workflows and participate in team stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including data security and Defence contract requirements.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have a recent graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python programming is essential.
  • An analytical mindset and problem-solving ability are required.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and database integration is desirable.
  • Interest in AI/ML concepts and practical industrial applications is highly valued.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders is necessary.
  • Self-motivated individuals with strong organisational skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
  • Desirable: Exposure to operational technology (OT), IoT, or industrial control systems; experience with cloud platforms, data engineering tools, or ML frameworks; familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.
