Job Overview:

This role is a key position responsible for driving business growth in assigned territories across Australia and New Zealand.

An experienced, local technical expert is required to support customers and relationships in the field, while also driving demand and specification of products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of commercial channels, pricing, marketing, and distribution models within the industry.

They will have effective specification and presentation skills, with the ability to attain goals, explain product features and benefits, and conduct training and educational programs.

  • Maximize exposure and success by facilitating demand for Senninger products at various levels.
  • Act as a local intermediary, recommending distribution changes as necessary and informing management of events, territory occurrences, and other pertinent information.
  • Manage expenditures within budget, saving money whenever possible.
  • Execute customer training programs, trade shows, and promotional events in assigned territory.
  • Direct field service and support as required, advising on warranty policies and procedures in line with company policy.
  • Collect data for forecasts and market data reports as required.
  • Travel as needed to accomplish goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year degree in business administration, marketing, agronomy, agricultural engineering, or seven years equivalent agricultural irrigation industry and technical experience.
  • Minimum of seven years of Agricultural Irrigation, and technical support experience within the agricultural irrigation industry in both Center Pivot and Solid Set applications.
  • Knowledge of regional business and cultural practices.
  • Irrigation Association (IA) Level II certification with additional Level III certifications is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record sufficient to meet requirements to be insured by company. Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
