Occupational Therapist

VMCH is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team within the At-home Aged Care program. This full-time ongoing position is ideal for a confident and positive graduate who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, person-centered OT services, including assessment, goal-oriented treatment planning, and report writing.
- Conduct thorough functional assessments to identify accommodation settings or home modifications required for clients to live safely and supportively.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address needs related to activities of daily living, functional performance, and sensory processing.
- Provide therapy supports in clients' chosen environments, including their homes and specialist accommodations.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
- Sound theoretical knowledge of complex conditions impacting people with disabilities, the aged, and their carers.
- Knowledge and skill in assessing, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic plans and services for the elderly.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, including office-based or remote off-site locations.
- Current Victorian driver's license and evidence of 2022/2023 Flu Vaccination and COVID-19 Vaccination.
