We are seeking a driven and highly motivated individual to join our kitchen team as a Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen.
  • Take charge of kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
  • Manage stock levels and stock rotation, conduct stocktakes and assist with ordering.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff.
  • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to step confidently into a leadership role when required.
  • Positive and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills.
