Your Role:
We are currently looking for a talented and experienced chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow chefs to develop innovative and mouth-watering recipes that delight our patrons.
- Ensure that all ingredients are sourced and prepared with the utmost attention to quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Prepare and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, negotiating with suppliers, and managing costs effectively.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Monitor the quality of dishes throughout the preparation and presentation stages.
- Address customer feedback regarding food quality and service promptly and professionally.
- Stay informed about culinary trends and practices to keep our offerings competitive and appealing.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Experience & Skills Required:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a chef role.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a kitchen team.
- Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Relevant culinary education is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong focus on quality, efficiency, and organization.
- Ability to interpret recipes and menu plans with creativity.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented kitchen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
