Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive evidence-based decision-making processes as an Assistant Director Evidence-Based Practice.

About the Role

This dynamic role requires expertise in research translation, policy implementation, and project coordination. You will be responsible for using your knowledge of evidence-based practice, knowledge translation, and implementation science to support projects and translate research into actions.

  • Use your expertise to support projects that utilize evidence-based practice, knowledge translation, and implementation science.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement evidence-informed solutions.
  • Develop resources to communicate research findings and present them to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support projects by providing expert advice on evidence-based practice and knowledge translation.
  • Lead internal capability activities designed to support evidence-informed decision making, including online learning and community of practice.
  • Maintain project records using research software or platforms.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Qualifications in disability, allied health, public health, or a related discipline (PhD or postgraduate qualifications preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practice and knowledge translation.
  • Proven experience in leading internal capability activities and utilizing online learning and community of practice initiatives.
