About the Role

Ventia is seeking a skilled Drill Rig Fitter to join our Rig & Wells team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment associated with our minerals sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and repairs on Drill Rigs, Trucks, Compressors, and Light Vehicles
  • Accurately maintaining records of works completed
  • Diagnostics and fault finding activities
  • Breakdown support

Requirements

  • Driver's License (MR minimum) – HR or greater is highly regarded
  • Trade Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Diesel Fitting
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a team player
  • The proven ability to fault find and troubleshoot under pressure
  • Previous experience working in the drilling industry – Highly regarded
  • Fire Suppression, Airconditioning, Telehandler, and Backhoe tickets – All highly regarded
