Sales Strategy Execution

We're seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead - Public Sector to join our team at SAS. As a key sales professional, you'll be responsible for executing sales strategies across the full SAS portfolio in Public Sector, including software & cloud and domain solutions.

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with senior decision-makers and driving sales of our world-class software products. You'll need to stay up-to-date on industry trends, business objectives, and market developments to stay ahead of the curve.

  • Sell SAS solutions that address customer pain points and translate those stories into successful sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers in the Public Sector.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 8+ years of experience in selling computer software solutions, preferably in the Public Sector.
  • A strong ability to initiate and lead sales opportunities and relate technical concepts to user needs.
  • A growth mindset, creativity, and a value-based selling approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
