Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at allnex, a leading coating resins company. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Technical Service and R&D teams by performing routine benchwork tasks, maintaining accurate experimental records, and conducting tests on polyester and vinyl ester products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Technical Service team in day-to-day benchwork tasks, including testing and property determinations for various polyester and vinyl ester products.
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate results, providing technical support to customers as needed.
  • Conduct technical service investigation testing of products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, majoring in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience in chemical lab work, particularly with polyester resin properties and applications, is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to lab protocols, with the ability to lift up to 20kg pail when required.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different functions.
