The ideal candidate will develop and deliver community-based health education, promotion, and prevention activities across the network.
- Collaborate with public health teams to support key priorities
- Engage with local communities, sharing key health information and promoting healthy choices
- Identify existing health promotion materials for program use
- Distribute health information and program materials, supporting community members in public health initiatives
- Build relationships with health services, community organizations, and community members
- Promote Community-Controlled Health Services, engaging community members in health-promoting screening initiatives
- Host health promotion events
- Support cancer screening and other health programs
- C Class Driver's Licence (current)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Valid Blue Card
- Experience working with diverse communities, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
