Paediatric Occupational Therapist Role

Our paediatric occupational therapy team is seeking a highly skilled professional to provide assessment and treatment services to children in our modern clinic.

You will work closely with families, other healthcare professionals and the multidisciplinary team to deliver best-practice care and support.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or higher and be registered with AHPRA. They will also hold a Blue Card for Working with Children and be eligible to obtain a Medicare Provider Number.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing assessment and occupational therapy services to children in our modern clinic.
  • Writing assessment and progress reports, including FCAs, sensory profiles and NDIS review reports.
  • Liaising with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining and expanding your knowledge base.
  • Sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team.

Cairns is a beautiful area in North Queensland, surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef to the East, the Atherton Tablelands and Savannah Way to the West and the Daintree Rainforest and Cape to the North.
