We are seeking a skilled and experienced Poultry Technician to join our team at Global Skilled Employment Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in poultry production, including egg and meat production.
• Select and purchase poultry stock, ensuring high-quality and healthy birds.
• Advise and administer feed and water supply, ensuring optimal nutrition and health.
• Manage the disinfection process for poultry houses, cages, and nests, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and implement vaccination programs for the poultry flock, ensuring the health and well-being of the birds.
• Inspect and dispose of or segregate infected poultry, preventing the spread of disease.
• Collect, inspect, and pack eggs, and select and crate pullets and fryers for shipment.
• Maintain accurate growth, feed, and production records, providing valuable insights for improvement.
• Advise and manage the breeding fertility of the main flock, ensuring optimal reproduction and incubation processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Agriculture or higher equivalent.
• At least 3 years recent relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a production team.
